Palliative care

Palliative care

We believe palliative care means not only supporting the person under our care, but also supporting those around them. Wherever possible we will provide practical support to help relieve the stress and grief of a very difficult time.

Our carers are selected for their empathy and caring nature and are trained  to support people physically and emotionally . Staff are all trained in End of Life and palliative care and stages of bereavement as well as pressure area care, administration of medication, fluid and nutrition and moving and handling, amongst other things, as we know the importance of seeing and dealing with the whole person not just their diagnosis.

They have experience of working alongside health professionals, religious representatives and family and friends.

We have been providing support to clients choosing to spend their last days since we started.
