Companionship and socialising

Companionship and socialising

Companionship and independence is valued by everyone and more and more people are deciding that they want to stay in their own home. As a result making their own choices even if their physical ability requires them to have another person present in their home to support them. Those we support simply want company, conversation and social interaction. Whether they live alone and cannot see their family and friends as often as they would like.

Some clients need help to get out and about, we can accompany on visits which could include,

  • friends and family
  • Clubs or social events
  • Visits to restaurants or to the local pub
  • Shopping trips
  • Trips to doctors, dentists, hairdressers etc
  • Visits to the swimming pool, theatre or cinema
