Companionship and socialising
Companionship and independence are important to everyone and more and more people are understandably deciding that they want to stay in their own home as long as possible.
We want to help people make their own choices, even if their physical ability requires them to have another person present in their home to support them. Often, those we support simply want company, conversation and social interaction for times when they can’t see their family and friends as often as they would like. We at Axela Care understand that companionship and socialising can go a long way to ensure our charges stay healthy.
When it’s time to get out and about, we can accompany on visits including:
- Friends and family
- Clubs or social events
- Visits to restaurants or the local pub
- Shopping trips
- Trips to doctors, dentists, hairdressers
- Visits to the swimming pool, theatre or cinema
